Near & far, thousands of horses & donkeys find their way into bad situations. The horse industry in this country needs change. Horses are often sent to auction, traded around, or sent to slaughter in  Mexico or Canada.

 

These horses don't have a voice.

Even after years of being a work horse, a family pet, or beloved racer, they still can find their way into the pipeline where their fate is decided for them.

Rescue centers around the world are stepping up, desperately trying to help these innocent equine from falling into the wrong hands. Unfortunately, until legislature passes the SAFT act, the horses & donkeys are in danger.

 

While just starting on this journey, I have watched, cried, & donated to special rescues that I follow, trust in & aspire to be. But it's not enough to stand by and watch.

 

Even in Wisconsin, our horses & donkeys NEED us!

 Even if I can  only help one sweet soul at a time, I will share my field, my time & my love to be small part of change. . With the help of community members & friends, we can all do good for animals that deserve a second change, a soft place to land, and a loving home.

 

Finding these amazing horses/donekys a loving home is important for making room for another at the farm. 

An adoption fee ensures a proper home & allows for more rescues, along with their food, vet and farrier care & rehabilitation.
